Topic: M105

Installed repetier on my da vinci 1.0A.
using simplify3d.

I finaly had some nice prints, but suddenly when connecting to the machine it start to send m105 code and nothing happens, no temperature showing in s3d =/

Anyone know what the problem can be?

Re: M105

For one why are you on COM 26? Some programs have issues with COM ports higher than 5. Not sure why but I remember reading this on a printer related post.

Is COM 26 even the correct port? I trust you already tried the usual of unplugging all the USB and rebooting the computer and printer. Also make sure you are using a direct connection and not a hub. If the hub is powered it might be OK but using hubs with 3D printers is not advised.

Re: M105

Im not sure why, and now I have change the port to one in the back and now it says com29 insted.

Its connected, I can move all axsis from s3d.

This is how it looks in my tree:

Hmm. When I go in to change the port, it says that the ports are used =/

I know that this has something to do with the printer =/

EDIT: So now I have clear the regeditkey and the printer is now at port5. But still only M105 with no respons..

EDIT: Reinstalled the USB to serial driver and changed to a new cable, seems to work, getting codes back from printer.
BUT: If having the box on both bed and extruder for the "wait for temperature controller to stabilize before build" checked, only the bed will heat.

And now I unchecked the box for the bed and extruder starts to heat up. But when heated up, the printer restarted itself..=/

And when trying to reconnect, I get the M105 without any respons again. GHHAAAAAAAA

EDIT: Everytime this happens, I can delete the Arduino DUE driver and reinstall it, than it works, for now. I have to do some prints and see if its F***ing up again.

Isnt there a way to upload the build to the printer, so that my computer dont need to stay connected to the printer during the build?

Re: M105

Once you install Repetier you can no longer disconnect or turn off the computer. It prints now using a live stream. The only other choice would be to put the SDcard on an extension cable then you could print from the SDcard.

Re: M105

Ok..

So, I found the problem, everytime I shut off the printer, or if the S3d have been connected to the printer and I close the program. I need to reinstall the arduini due drivers to the printer to get it to work again.. I dont know what to do about this =/

Re: M105

Solved..

There was a conflict between some serial protocols.

After reinstalling windows everything works as it should smile

I had this exact same problem.  To solve it I went to this website:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel … b-problems

Apparently there was a problem with the USB port and my laser printer?!?!   Once that was fixed, I was able to immediately connect to my Davinci 1.0 (Repetier 0.92, Simplify3D).
