Topic: Scanned item is poor quality on import

Hello,

I am using an Xbox Kinect to scan a head with Skanect. Everything seems to be going well with the scanning and the .stl seems to be of good quality. When I import it into XYZware (I have a daVinci Mini printer), the quality is poor and the head's details are low and it appears triangulated. Any tips to maintain the quality on import to print a quality product is appreciated. I am attaching the .stl if you need to review it.

Thanks everyone!

Doug

It looks like you are just importing a mesh. It is not solid. The xyz software does not like items that are not solid.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Sorry for the newb questions, but if I am only importing the mesh, where am I going wrong with importing the file as a solid?
