Topic: Arduino Drivers

I am going to use a dedicated pc running WINDOWS 8. Anybody else with a SD3 running it? If so, are there any problems installing  Arduino Drivers?

Re: Arduino Drivers

Did win 8 go out and look for the drivers?

Re: Arduino Drivers

The Arduino "drivers" are actually INF files that are provided with the Arduino IDE install.  The only problem I had was that they were not signed, and it took quite a bit of fiddling to figure out how to turn the driver-signing requirement off in Win8.  Basically you have to shut down Win8 and reconfigure the driver signing as you reboot.  There are articles out there explaining how it is done: I've already forgotten how I did it!

Re: Arduino Drivers

When I installed WIN8 did not find the drivers automatically so all I had to do was manually point at the correct drivers folder
