Topic: Need help to extrude Nylon 6.6

I was offered Nylon 6.6 pellets, tried to extrude at max temp approx 235 but nothing out, its not melting I mean looks like I put gravel, removed the nozzle and took me lot of time to clean the gravel oops the nylon pellets.

Yes, melting temp is higher, have no details about the materials that's why I tried.
guess I will need replace the heater with some fire source or 18V P supply

Re: Need help to extrude Nylon 6.6

Just wire in an ~18v power supply, or, better yet, solder on a female connector for one if you can. As Tim has mentioned before, the heater band, PID controller, and fans are capable of 18v operation. (The stall board just shaves it down to 12v)
