Topic: Custom Figure - Iron Knight

So, being the goob that I am, I am transforming a 3d model I use in my webcomic (http://everett.webcomic.ws/blog)into a figure via the Davinci Jr.

I have to trace over the original as I didn't make it watertight, while I'm at it I'll have to decide what sort of joint system I'll be using (if any)  Estimated height 6".

Already printed a logo sort of thing -my first print after a few presets.  Accidentally used spray-on rubber instead of spraypaint XD

Re: Custom Figure - Iron Knight

Blender intimidated me for over four years until I finally bit the bullet.  Now I use it nearly everyday.  You can't go wrong with free stuff.

Torso came out well.  Glued the two haves together with a gluestick and did a bit of coloring with sharpie.  Might make another version with the two colors separated- easier to spraypaint.

Back side doesn't show up very well on camera hmm

Cut the legs up into these little pieces: they're currently printing.  Decided against articulated joints until I can find a good base to work off.

edit: leg bits printed and assembled... ish.  Being held together with wall putty XD
