Topic: I want to make a robot that shoves new prints off the build platform

into a bucket. And i want to make that robot from lego (ok if I have to glue). How would I do this? I also want to print the lego parts for this.

Oh I can probably just make a list of all the parts I would need?

If I have all the parts scanned, can I print a whole set like that?

Here is one solution for your situation. I've seen pics of lego parts but I imagine the printer might struggle to get small details in accurately. You will need to have a nice setup so the plastic doesn't warp or sag.

Oh I'm not too worried about getting it to print accurate enough. Ian is already printing at 0.1mm and I've also already printed some functional lego pieces at 0.3mm without doing any calibration (ever). I'm pretty sure the solidoodle2 is up to that task.

Edit: attached an example, which is a lego/wood rails mix part

I'm more worried about the durability I think. I wonder if these self printed parts last as long as the store bought ones.
