Hello all....

First of all sorry for my bad english... i will try my best big_smile

Ok so now to my problem.

I have a Davinci AIO 1.0 and now i will go to repetier. My question work the scanner whit repetier and horus?

From Repetier-Firmware-0.92 Github (https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-0.92):
- This firmware is based on the popular repetier firmware and modified to work with first generation Da Vinci 1.0, 2.0 single fan, 2.0 dual fans and also AiO (NB:scanner function is not supported so AiO will work like an 1.0A)

but if you scroll down you can read:

- AiO scanner support is present in FW but scanner software support is currently basic, horus is a good candidat, feel free to help here


Is it possible to use repetier and the aio scanner ?

This post says "repetier can but horus not right now"

I have read that after a flash to repetier fw it is not possible to get back to the stock fw?

No, as written Printer can control every aspect for the scanner laser/led/turn table but there is no software to be able to use these feature properly right now, horus is currently a good candidate - we did some small modifications, but deep modifications must be done and are not done yet=> So no software can scan using AiO right now
That is why no scanner support right now

Repetier host only slice and send print, it does not handle any scanner (at least now)

And no, it is written also, no revert to stock with AIO

okay but it is possible later?

Because if its right ?! there is no way back to the original fw

the repetier software is done but the "external software for scanning like horse" does not work with repetier right now?
my question because i am thinking about updating the printer for better printig and waiting for horus

Well will be ready when will be ready but this is the goal - I do not have AiO so I do not know, and currently few people having an AIO are working / testing it on their free time so as mention can take a while

For printing repetier host works with AiO

Version 1.2.2

I will try to update him to retetier, after that i can try to help.

I would love to see this also my AiO is good but I want to go to repetier but don't want to lose scanning option
