Topic: FIXED Help :) Da Vinci 1.0 stuck after successful flash to repetier

I followed the below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjuCvlnpB7M

All worked successfully and the files uploaded to the Printer shows success, however the printer menu never changes from the black squares.

Anyone able to assist / ?

Running Arduino 1.5.8 as per tutorial
Windows 10
previous firmware 2.1.1
Davinci 1.0a

Thank you.

FIX - Bridge the jumper with a single wire, it will make an audible beep when done.

Cheers, I have been doing that and first attempt showed all as success (however printer remains as black squares)

I tried going through the steps from scratch (all directories removed and unzipped from source files) and now when I try to compile the code I get

Sketch uses 158,892 bytes (30%) of program storage space. Maximum is 524,288 bytes.

Then it wont even upload, (I tried resetting Eprom again too)

Changed ports and usb cable and its run again, but same deal... black squares on printer even after after showing successful upload

FIXED smile

Turns out I wasn't bridging the Eprom reset pins correctly, instead of using each end of a single wire I used one end across.
Tip for beginners, It will actually make an audible beep when you do it correctly.

Heart attack avoided, thank you!
