Topic: Da Vinci Jr 1.0 Firmware-Personalisation

Hi together,

in the past to months I've read many posts about cracking the NFC or other things but I didn't find anything about decompiling the firmware.
I've successfully installed the simplyfy3D Software and it works realy good and faster than the xyzware. So I only need a simple way to get rid of the filament counting.
In my oppinion the easiest way to do that is the decompiling of the firmware and to set a fixed value of 200m instead of the counted value to write back to the NFC. But up to now I didn't find any tool to decompile the Da Vinci Jr. 1.0 firmware.
Now my question: is anybody here who has successfully decompiled this firmware ? If yes, please tell me which tool You've used.

hi.

as far as i know the firmware files are aes encrypted. ( as far as i can remember that has been covered in the reset thead)

that simplify3d app does that run with out starting xyzware? ie. direct upload of gcode to the printer
and does it work on any older jr firmware?

Hi Ben,

since round about two weeks the simplify3D software supports the Da Vinci Jr. directly. So you can directly from this software print on the Da Vinci Jr. On the other way it is possible to create a gcode-file and put it on the SD-Card and print from the SD-Cart. In this way it is also possible to change the temperature of the print.
