Topic: da vinci 2.0 screen fried ?

Sup Guys.
so go ahead yell at me . LOL
I know better but I'm was lazy and had my Da vinci 2.0 turned on while hotgluing sensor connector on board thats on top of the extrudes and touched something "accidentally" poof and screen got no lights no nothing .

running E3D V6 custom carriage blablabla I just want to know how to test screen or I might have bigger issues ?

is there aftermarket screen I can use ?

I read some people drop ramps  setup with screen  should I just do that?

Thanks

Re: da vinci 2.0 screen fried ?

Can you still print via USB?! (just to make sure your mainboard isn't a cactus)

Just take it apart and check if there's nothing obvious blown. You could possibly fix it by replacing few SMD components or so.
Also the same with the display, should be generic lcd (can't confirm that, never had a chance to take apart 2.0)

yah can print from usb.

its not just LCD its whole module  :-/

I think I might tear down my delta and get ramps with LCD and do the conversion .
I got another davinci 1.1 I can print with in the mean time.
