Topic: connect help

so i was updating the firmware for higher extruder temps via http://www.soliwiki.com/Updating_Solidoodle_Firmware and after i went through the bootloader (step 31) my printer wont connect to the computer. BUT if i have the boot jumper on it will make a connection sound when i plug it in my computer but still wont pop up on the ports list in driver manager. any thoughts? cant figure how to get this back online now...

sounds like a new device installed on the old Port. I had to reassign new port of higher number like 24 so new plugins dont steal what they see as a vacant port. USB, PDA sync devices etc do this alot

Solidoodle 2 with Deluxe kit cover & glass bed with heater. and 2nd board SD2 used not 3rd and alum platform not installed yet still wood. also need cooling fan installed to board. use Repetier Host couple vers. Slic3r also have all free ware STL programs
