It is easy if you buy the fully assembled E3d from http://www.printitindustries.com/
The wiring is fairly simple but you'll need to understand the firmware changes. We can help you through all of that so don't worry, if you have questions just ask.

Crap, so it looks like i need an extender support and an extended z stop. Is there any other way i can still complete the installation without those two things?
Flip the bolt upside down or use a longer bolt
Or does your printer have the knob that sticks through the back?

Ah alrighty. And just out of curiosity, if i have a spare Solidoodle Press laying around, then would i be able to use those parts for my solidoodle 4? For example, can i just take the hot end from the Press and screw it onto the 4?
That I am unsure of but if it fits physically, it should work.

Does the SD4 run on 24v? If yes, no problem; if the SD4 runs on 12v then the Press heater cartridge, bed, and fans would not be of much use...
Good catch!!! IronMan is correct a press hot end is 24 volt and SD4 is 12volt.
Thanks for the info guys. I just bought an mk6 kit and a fully assmembled v6.
Sorry for the confusion earlier, let us know how we can help.
