Topic: Connectors?

A while ago I had a problem with Mintemp / Maxtemp errors caused by a faulty connection between the thermistor and the board.

I've wired up a temporary solution using alligator clips, but I'd like to complete a permanent repair.

Does anyone know where I can find the quick connects (blue female, white male) and the appropriate punchdown tool?

TIA

Re: Connectors?

Could just use one of these:

https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10372

Or similar.

Re: Connectors?

I use similar products, from Pololu: I bought 25 or 50 each of the 6" and 12", male on one end and female on the other.  I'm set to replace wires til the end of time.  I used them to replace the wires between the controller and the hot end on one of my printers. It's been working for weeks.  I just tied it to the cable bundle with velcro ties.

Re: Connectors?

Thank you for the replies.  I think the sparkfun jumper could work, but I also need a male terminal for the thermistor wires.

I needed take the old terminal off to test and re-using the old connector has not proved reliable.

Any thoughts?
