Topic: Temperature variations

I have a rigidbot with a Sainsmart 2 in 1 board, and i've been noticing temperature variations on the thermistors for the HBP and nozzle, both roughly in unison with each other (when one is +5, the other is +5, etc). This changes quite frequently, several times a minute. Does not seem to be affected by motion or position. Any ideas?

Re: Temperature variations

Has this just started or always happened. Temp variations are normal as the heaters are not on all the time.. They switch on to reach temp then off till it falls to a certain point of usually 5 degrees then they come back on. this repeats all the time at a fast rate.

If the temp is always a bit high, just adjust your set temp. If it is low then you may have a bad or loose thermistor or related connection.
