Topic: Squiggly Prints

I have not seen this before from my printer...

Am I running too hot?  Too cold?  Is it caused by a partial clog?

Weird. Is your Z-tab calibrated?

Re: Squiggly Prints

I've not had any problems like this until today.

How can I tell if my Z-Tab is calibrated, and how do I calibrate it?

Re: Squiggly Prints

It looks like the layer changes became too big at some point, as if Z steps/mm changed mid print.   Do you have a dial indicator, or some way to measure how far the Z moves?

Re: Squiggly Prints

You didn't happen to wind up the speed and decrease the cool time did you?  I can get something like this when I all but turn off cool in skeinforge, meaning that the layer below isn't solid enough yet to put down the next layer.  I agree it looks as though you're extruding more material than can fit but the wavyness doesn't really make sense.
