Topic: Solidoodle Replacement Parts

To save many people the time of googling for replacement parts I decided to put together a list of parts.

Hot End Heater : http://www.amazon.com/Solidoodle-Replac … ess+heater (tested and confirmed to be working)

Connector:

I've recrimped the connector a couple times. Going by my digikey invoice I think this was the housing http://www.digikey.com/product-search/e … 55-1162-ND (JST PHR-6) and these are the pins http://www.digikey.com/product-search/e … -1127-1-ND (JST SPH-002T-P0.5S). These are JST connectors. When I went looking for a part number on the connector in my Solidoodle Press it was printed with "JSY" which is apparently a copy of JST.

The cable itself I haven't figured out how to source yet. If someone has a part number I'd like to know what it is.

Lucky for me there was a crimp tool at work that I could use. The parts are really cheap but the crimp tool is quite expensive. It also helped to have a magnifying lens.

I recently did the Bowden drive E3Dv6 upgrade so now my extruder motor doesn't move.

I will be ordering some connectors today and will update then i have installed them

Edit: The connectors and crimps work great

Nozzles: Standard MK8 Nozzles work fine I bought these and have had no issues with them so far http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZH … ge_o02_s00

Exruder Heat block: Looks like some generic Aluminum heat block you get off amazon have not had to replace yet so have not looked around,  just make sure it has spots for the two small screws that keep the thermistor and hotend heater in place and it is mk8

Bed Heater:

Bed Thermistor:

Extruder themistor: http://www.amazon.com/Solidoodle-Replac … thermistor

Have not needed to replace but its from the same company who made the hotend heater so it will probably work

Smooth Rod lubricant:

Stepper Motors:

Belts:

This is an incomplete list please comment with your experiences with replacing parts to fill in the gaps

heater block for bed or extruder? neather is anywhere as large or high of watts as what your link shows, nor do they run on 120v AC. must be careful here on how much power they ues for them to work as intended.

Re: Solidoodle Replacement Parts

How about the printerboard (motherboard). Its been 14 days and no response from Solidoodle. I submitted the help form and I called them, and no response. I have purchase a ramps 1.4 that I am currently configuring for my press, but it would be nice to know other peoples thoughts.

Re: Solidoodle Replacement Parts

Ramps is a better choice than the Printrboard.
