Topic: Twisting of scanned objects on table axis

Not really sure how to go about this. The rest of the model is great, but the top is just terrible due to some sort of twisting at the top of the model about the vertical axis.

I'd just "fix it" but I'm not very skilled in the ways of 3d modeling.

Can I get some help/tips/etc?

Can you post a photo of the object and a screenshot of the model zoomed out?
