Topic: Original thermistor + E3d v6 ?

As the title says I have a small question, can I use the original thermistor that came with my press in combination with e3d v6 until my isp programmer arrives?

I know that the temperatures may not be accurate but is it possible without harming my press och e3d?

Its too big, it won't fit. You can drill out the hole in the heater block if you want.

if the press won't let you heat to 280, you will still have to wait for the programmer. don't tighten it too cold, it will loosen up and leak plastic.

I think I managed to program the press using the "Bootloader method", is there any way of checking if the programming was successful (The printer works after programming, but I dont know if the firmware has changed)

The thermistor should read ambient temperature on start. if you increased the max temp for the extruder, you should be able to reach the new max.
