Topic: Metal SD Covers For Sale (Cheap)

I have replaced my 2 original metal Solidoodle 2 covers with magnetically attached plexiglass plates.  If anyone wants the covers, they are yours for the cost of shipping.  If not, they get recycled.

Solidoodle: if you want them, they are also yours for the price of shipping!

I drilled the plexiglass out and used super glue to fix the magnets inside the plexiglass.  You would have to surface-mount the magnets I suppose.

I imagine that it is much easier to just look in through the plexiglass, from any side or angle, than to try to use the mirrors, especially if you can only look in from the front.

I'm also thinking of getting rid of my metal cover,I found it bent the filament too much caused more clogs and broken filament with it of than with it off.

I've currently got corrugated card taped to the frame which offers better heat insulation for he build space...

Unless I can figure out a way to solve the problem that he case op seems too low I doubt I'll use the case as anything more than a dust cover!
