Nope, I'm STILL awaiting a response from Tech Support. I submitted the problem on January 21, I got one response, and have sent 4 four additional follow-up requests, but I've not seen any additional response in the last 11 days. I'm nothing, if not patient.
For now, I don't ever let it get plugged in when I'm not sitting in the room. To make sure, I take the power cord off when I turn it off.
alright keep us updated. thanks!
Had the same problem and same solution. However I ziptied the cable bundle down so it won't wiggle that wire until it breaks. I used the unused screw hole on the extruder fan.

So I had to fix the wire again it wiggles so much that it breaks its self off. If I ever get a new one from Solidoodle I think I will shrink wrap the cables together and maybe that will reduce the wiggling.
Funny, I had the same thing happen again today. It was the first wire on the left and it broke exactly the same way as last two times. It wasn't my solder joint, it was the wire itself that broke. In looking at the harness design, my wiring harness has a zip tie that's very, very close to the connector. Each time the extruder moves in the x-axis and y-axis, the zip tie holds the bundle of wires in place, but this forces the wire to rotate right at the connector. I think it's the constant rotation that's breaking it over and over again. This is the third time I've fixed it.
I think I'll move the zip tie up about an inch. This should allow a larger section of the wire to rotate and not just the little bit right at the connector, so hopefully it will put less stress on the wire at the connection point. Or, maybe, I"ll take @workwesty's advice and zip tie it to the unused screw hole on the extruder fan cover.
I've removed the ziptie entirely. I fixed the left most wire, but now one of the middle one's is sparking a little. I had the Press working well, but I haven't been able to print anything for weeks now.
Finally got my RMA number from tech support today (after more than a month). After fixing this printer multiple times over the past month (thanks to all on the forum), I'm going to give Solidoodle an opportunity to fix all the problems that are beyond my control. I'll be back online once I get the printer back from Solidoodle.
