it depend from my state of lazyness...

customs support is always my fist choice because it take less time to print and less time to remove (and less plastic).. so the model is always less 'damaged' but more time to 'think about it'...

for a difficult model like this one, the generated one do a good job if you do a good job as well for preparing the model (right position , and right geometry)...

it's the experience that said 'use this or that'.. try slic3r and kissclicer.. and look at the result in repetier-host..

but if it were me, I have changed the position of the starting model for a more easy one, which avoids in 95% of cases of  using a support... i hate support tongue
