thanks - I can do the math just wasn't sure if the full size would cause an issue or not.

OK - any one know how to get these extruders to go over 220deg? Is it a PID change or config.h change?

That's a configuratuon.h thing but you'll want to know the max temp your hot end can handle before you just jack up the temperature.

I suggest the belt tensioning tutorial from the solidoodle website, and you may also need to adjust the bearings for the y rod, mine was a little misaligned, but after loosening the bearings and moving the carriage a little bit it popped back in.  I then did the pully alignment and my axis was great. If you are using the 12x12 work bench then you may want to double check your bed size, the ones I have are:

X max: 336
Y max: 305
Z max: 305
Print area: 305 for all

I'm actually getting pretty decent prints (in my lack of experiential opinion) with very close to the default settings they provide off their website.

You should do some reading on here. There is an answer to that question but I'm not going to answer it.

I use RH version 1.06 - download free from repetier host. It has a different look than video version.  (Unfortunately I'm stuck with a PC, not a Mac so some screen dialog boxes are different.)
I use this to run my Robo3d printer for over a year and it works very well. Unlike the video - I use Cura to slice- it's faster to slice and I think better controls for my prints. So far I have done some test prints without filament and the G29 code inserted after line M107 on any sliced model works well to level bed and then start printing, but since I am not using filament yet, don't know if it sets Z height well. I'm fussy about Z height and I don't use auto level  it on my Robo3D, even though I have it.

As for RH setting - I think the video is correct for the most part. Let me know what setting you don't think are right and I'll send a screen shot of mine

Following the video, I tried printing a part and the head started outside the print bed so I think I either got something wrong or the instructions are for the 6"/8" printers  - I did not load the ini file at the end of the video for the 8"

Have you adjusted the y-axis belt yet?

Yes - I just removed the belt grips and released a bit the screws that hold the bearings in the front, then re-attached the belt grips.
But slic3r settings are way off and without any "official" info from solidoodle I would like to avoid making damages.

I'm having the same issues.
No CD/SD/booklet with some info on how to set it up. Y axis belt needed adjustments.
There is a video of someone actually making it work - youtube.com/watch?v=lU9NMDEgfwg - but the end settings are wrong - and those are the ones missing.
For the moment this printer is unusable
