I had a similar issue with my Press on the initial calibration/print. I ran the calibration, then bumped the Z offset up, which resolved the problem. I think I'm currently running with a Z-offset of around 4.2 or 4.3.

I don't think this was related, but I also had a clog in the hot end right out of the box. Extrusion was very spotty in general. I pulled both thumb screws and cleared the clog buy pushing some filament through manually, then carefully pulling out the filament. The clog was resolved very easily, but I wasn't thrilled to receive a printer that required maintenance right out of the box.

I would try with a slightly higher extruded temperature, though you will probably have to print with the lid open. Try 230.

Also, what is your z offset set to?

Knock on wood, I have not had a problem with it not sticking yet.

I turned the extruder temp up to 230C and I have been using a purple glue stick. I wait until the bed temp gets to 80C and rub it on there. I am on my 3rd print today. They stick so well I am worried I will brake them getting them off.

On the first layer I can not see a gap between the glue and the hot end. Good luck.

Absolute noob here. I can't get the filament to stick to the bed. I've cleaned it, misted hair spray, wont stick. Cleaned, used glue stick, wont stick. Performed Z calibration, wont stick. It just peels as the extruder goes and bunched up on the hot end.

Edit: sorry about the short title, I had the rest of it I must have accidentally deleted it. Also I have a video on it but for some reason I'm not allowed to post it?
