Yes a lot of people say how the eSun filament is very good. Having tried it myself I also think its good quality (although not quite as good as our own filament (obviously!)) .

I am sure the US west warehouse will get some in soon. Its probably on the water now.

Hobby king has both the 0.5kg and the 1kg sizes available in the eSun brand - just need to pay attention to the listing.
I ordered the smaller size spool of the eSun purple ABS to try out & check color - it is exactly what I was looking for in color and prints quite nicely so I ordered the larger size to add to my collection.

available from both the international and US East warehouses - US West doesnt seem to have it, not sure why...

Hi guys,

Just wanted to introduce ourselves:

We are 3Dex and we stock 3D printer filament. The Hobbyking filament is very popular but unfortunately often out of stock. Luckily, whilst you're waiting for HK to restock you might want to check out our website here:
http://www.3dexfilament.co.uk

Cheers,
3Dex

@L.woinson95

Have you got photos of your esun prints?

I have printed with the red esun and found that the XYZ printing red cartridge produced much better, smoother, even results.
For the esun I increased the heater temperature to 230 degrees, so would be very interested to see your results.

White esun filament is great at 210 degrees, solid prints but somehow not as smooth as the red XYZ cartridges. Same settings used in both cases.

IMHO for that kind of money worth a try. I have several rolls of $15 a kilo filament (PLA) from microcenter USA and it works fine.
You should be able to calculate the amount on a roll easy enough .
Pi x r^2 x l = volume of a cylinder , Pi x .865^2 x 1000 =pi x .748225 x1000 = Volume of one meter of 1.73 mm filament. = 2330.6 mm^3 =2.3306 cm^3 times 1.04 (Density of ABS = 2.444 grams per meter of material. 1 KG =1000g : 1000/2.444 is aprox 410 meters. So guys feel free to check the math.
Tin

Hi

I have seen that Hobby king have filament for sale now for £6.50 in the UK warehouse.

Is it worth it? I have just bought a cartridge re-setter for my Da Vinci 1.0 so was thinking about putting one of these reels in to the cart then re-setting to 240m. I know that there isn't 240m on them but trying it would allow me to work out how much is on one reel

Cheers
