What normally do is print the 20mm cal cube on thingiverse. It is small but has good surfaces for showing issues.&nbsp; I can then dial in settings without wasting too much filament. I will play around with cura engine when I get home and let you know what I find. There is chance the filament could be poor quality as well but we will see.</p>]]></description>

I prefer cura my self. I like the top finish that only it seems to support. But so far I have had little luck getting it to work. It seems to change the z offset on the first layer and I just have not dug into it deep enough. </p><p>I used to use Cura host which was cura based of course with no issues but Cura host does not want to talk to this printer even with Repetier firmware installed. There seems to be something weird in the comm protocol that is not standard.</p><p>Back on topic, the temp looks to low and speed too high in the green part. Could also be over extrusion.</p>]]></description>

No temp loss no nothing</p></blockquote></div><br /><p>There is a max feed rate and it cannot be exceeded. It is there to prevent the extruder from pushing filament too fast and it not fully melting. I know you are trying to use this machine for a business. </p><p>But the simple truth is you are expecting more from 3D printing then it is capable of. The speeds you want to run at exceed the capacity of this machine. </p><p>Your only solution is to buy one or two more machines. I mean at the price of $400 each whats to loose? You can then maybe meet your expectations of time required. </p><p>Your max speed for printing on this machine as I have been testing the last few days is 65mm/s, maybe 70mm/s but that is pushing it. If you are running on Simplyfy3D then that would be 3600mm/m. </p><p>That being said, that is for the infill, in perimeters, and areas that don&#039;t show. For areas that show, tight corners and holes you will need to drop down to 40mm/s. </p><p>I am sorry to say but FFF based 3d Printing is just not up to productions speeds and standards and never will be simply due to the way the machine operates and they way the filament is melted in deposited. You can&#039;t heat it more or it will burn. You can&#039;t feed it faster or you will will risk cold jams in your extruder. There are just inherent speed limits in these machines and you really need to acknowledge this. I have been printing over 6 years and have built 2 machines from kits and have had my Da Vinci since November of last year when a guy was selling them on ebay for repair. I know how these machines work and I know their capabilities.</p><p>There are two ways to make things happen faster. Buy and run multiple machines. Or sell the Da Vinci and get a Delta style printer which may increase your speed by 20%. </p><p>You are just going to have to except these machines are slow and that is one of the limiting factors to consider if thinking about a business based around one.</p><p>I wanted to add that if you run multiple machines, there are ways to do it where you still only need one computer.</p><p>I know a guy who is running ten machines. He runs them from the SD card which can be done on the Da Vinci. Just relocate the card to the print area with an extension cable for easy access. If you are running the Da Vinci on stock then once a print starts you can disconnect the PC or laptop and move on to the next machine and load it up. </p><p>There are also air cards which are SD cards that let you move files to them over wifi. The just use the printers LCD to print file from the card. </p><p>In anyr case it sounds like one machine will not meet your needs. Or you need to re-evaluate your production schedule and readjust it based on the machines capabilities rather than your expectations.</p>]]></description>
