If the part can be painted, use a matte white spray paint to cover the object. Paint only in very light coats. Spraying too much will cause dripping and it will show up in the scans. Also any object or parts of an object that are under 2 inches will not scan. It was a good idea but not implemented well. As for the resets, have not heard anything on that one yet. I would take it back and just get a Duo or 1.0A. Wait for the scanning tech to mature more. Or look up how to build a cheap but better scanner using the Xbox Kinect.</p>]]></description>
