In the early Avatar printers the heated bed springs were a little weak. I suggest you purchase stiffer bed springs from a hardware store, also you may want to set the printer to 2 Shells instead of 1.

To me, it looks like there's a shift in one of the axis. How are you printing this? When looking at the second photo, is the object's shown side towards the back of the back/front of the bed, or on the bed's sides?

I just bought my first 3D printer, an Avatar IV, from a Chinese manufacturer. I've been testing the printer for the past few days without enjoying much success in terms of layer alignment. There is an offset between each layer printed.

I'm trying to print the part shown on picture 3D Part.jpg.
The results are shown on the three other pictures.

I have been printing with PLA filaments. My printing settings are:

One Extruder

Extruder Temperature: 200°C

Hot Bed Temperature: 50°C (Glass covered by blue tape)

Object Infill: 10%

Layer Height: 0.27mm

Number of Shells: 1

Feedrate: 40mm/s

Travel Speed: 30mm/s

I would like to know what might cause this improper layer alignment and how I can fix it. Thank you!
