The wood filament from RepRapWarehouse (which is NOT branded Laywood) worked well for me after I solved my tangling issues (as discussed on other threads).

Most of us seem to have trouble with most PLA based filaments. I'm not sure if anyone has tried Laybrick, but I'm eager to try different kinds of filament.

I think the key is that the filament must melt at a higher temperature similar to ABS. PLA melts quite low which is a problem for the default Press configuration, and any filament which melts this low will also experience issues due to cooling issues with the gears in the extruder assembly.

I tried two 8 hour prints, and the spool jammed during both, ruining the print. Have you attempted a long print?

I wonder if the official Laywood filament is worth a try.

Awesome, I'll have to order the wood.

The copper I found says it is PLA, but I am struggling lots with black PLA that I have. Is what you're using PLA, or did you find an ABS version?

the stuggle with the flexible stuff it that right after the extruder gear/hobbed bolt itll bend, im trying to print or make a solution currently

Did you get the "wood (coffee)" colour ABS filament? Or the actual wood filament?

Laywood requires a .5mm nozzle or larger. I would not recommend trying it in a Press.

The hotend has been fully disassembled by others so if you clog it up there is hope (this used to not be so easy). All the filaments you mentioned run at or under ABS temps, so I don't see any immediate reason why this would be a problem, except for the extruder might need some work (especially for t glase and ninja flex; TG because it requires a lot of tension, and ninjaflex because... It flexes).

Basically I'm saying it would be safe to experiment. If you run into extruder problems don't forget you can design and print one wink
