Well I found the problem. The wire bundled is getting caught by the print assembly as it moves back into the Y axis at the back of the printer. I am starting a different thread to show the problem and hopefully someone has a suggestion to fix this.

Hi,

Just got our Press. Extruder seems to work, tested with 50mm extrusion per instruction.
Downloaded a simple model space invader ( model 491 in the solidoodle model collection. to do a test print, and...

- the print head headed to the back (X axis?) and slam to the right (I assume that's the Y axis), started making loud clicking noise -- which I assume it is not "stopping" because it does not know it has hit the limit?
- meanwhile the print bed is at the midpoint of the Z axis, not moved at all.

So I am not sure if the problem is with the initial "slamming to the right" or the print bed is stuck on the z-axis, but I have no idea what to do now.

I did check the microswitch on the right side, and the print head is pressing it correctly.

Any help is appreciated !

P.K.
