Once you've used a proper parametric constructive modeller (solidworks, inventor, etc...) you'll never go back!

If you're fortunate enough to have access to Solidworks, then I strongly suggest keeping at it...it's really not that hard smile  I found the integrated tutorials invaluable when I first started.  If you get stuck, feel free to PM me.

It's really nice to have every feature defined and linked so when you make changes it propagates through the model or assembly...
