I know this is an ancient post. But, its the only one I see on topic. I'm just curious if anyone has gotten good working profiles for the newer (v4) Simplify3D software. I'm particularly interested in a da vinci duo setup that uses PLA for the model and the water soluble for rafts and supports. I'm having a real time getting them to work together in the stock XYZware software. I can get one extruder or the other to work. But, together they make a mess.

I've only just gotten Simplify3D. If anyone export out and zip their process file and post it, that'd be great.

Just an FYI I went back to printing ABS today and the temps were being overridden by my xyzerocart so I decided to remove it completely and turns out you can run 3rd party filament without the need to reset the cartridges. big plus!!!

Jeff - just wanted to thank you for sharing your settings. Between the tests I did last night and merging in some of your settings, I'm now back to reliably getting clean prints with the XYZ cartridges, both red and white I have in there now. I'm now confident I'll be able to get decent prints with 3rd-party filaments.

Thanks very much for sharing this. I haven't ventured beyond the XYZ Cartridges yet - still been trying to get consistently decent prints from ABS with the Repetier firmware. I've gotten to a point where I can print a very simple test consistently with a quality I like and am moving on to something more complex.

Seeing your settings helps immeasurably: it looks like I arrived at more or less the same place as you with the settings (outside of temps) so I feel like I'm not throwing darts against a board anymore. Going to try some Glow in the Dark ABS with HIPS supports this week.
