If you have Solidworks, it can do that. All you need is a vector drawing (Illustrator AI or EPS, Autocad DWG, etc), and the you can extrude the parts you want raised.

Here is one I did a while back for a friend

Sure, I can do that. I think it'd be free if what I'm think of it correctly. Email it to elmoret at gmail and I'll give it a shot.

I am a registered professional engineer and I want a model of my PE seal. I have it in .dwg format from putting it on autocad drawings, but I want an STL model of it because... reasons. I don't know, maybe I'll put it on a pencil can or business card holder or something. I don't really want to post it here since it has my full name and license number, but if you google Virginia PE seal, it looks like that. It's very detailed, has to be 2" diameter, and when it doesn't come out well even with my smallest nozzle I may try to find someone with a little RP or other resin projection printer thing to print it for me.

Does anyone know how I could go about doing this? I just want maybe a 3 mm base with the lettering protruding about 2 or 3 mm above that, so its a small object. I'm ready to pay a reasonable amount, and once you've got the template set up you might make some more money if you are able to track down other engineers who want the same. Thanks for any help.
