			<title><![CDATA[DIY sealed reel holder]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Finding out about abs absorbing moisture, I set out to create a simple DIY reel holder that seals in the reel. I used a dewalt fastener case from home depot. I then printed a cylinder to hold the spool, and a smaller piece for the door that supports the spool cylinder from sagging. I mounted those with 1/4&quot; bolts, dead center in the case. I then drilled a 1/2&quot; hole in the top left to install a 3/8&quot; grommet in the top corner. I then printed a plug that can be inserted into the hole when not printing, that is notched so the filament can remain connected to the printer while plugged. Then I just threw the desiccant pack that came with the reel into the bottom.</p><p>Can&#039;t post pics or links yet, but I will come back and do so once I&#039;ve had enough posts.</p>]]></description>
