that dimension on the stock nozzle will help as a starting point. thanks

I'd guess 3mm or 3.2mm would get you in the ballpark if you're currently seeing 2.2mm.

It also sounds like you're extruding a bit hot or have quite a large loop for the winder if you're seeing 2.2mm on a stock nozzle.

Pla comes out around 2.2mm on the same setup with 3 fans, i've drilled one for 1.9mm and get great results on vertical with winder for pla/abs coming out around 1.8mm, but might want to drill some around 1.8mm.

have 3 undrilled nozzle's i'd like to drill for pla and other materials that have a slower cooldown time.
any suggestions from experience would be great at this point before i just go drilling away.
will be using a drill press at work so i'll have to pickup the bits first and will post results once there in.

feel free to post any suggestions for all sizes you'd like to see as well.
