You can use 1.1.33 but you *must* block xyz.exe with the windows firewall or littlesnitch on a mac (google "how to block exe with windows" etc).

if you're on 1.2.3 it may work, but I strongly suggest that you downgrade back to 1.1.J using the DAVINCI_1_0_RESET.zip file in the http://wctek.com/shop download area.

make sure you block the xyz.exe (XYZWare) before you do anything or it will re-upgrade to 1.2.3 in the background without asking you (pretty lame).

You can really use any as long as you plan on blocking xyz from connecting to the internet.

I'm using the version that came with my printer, simply because I don't want to upgrade.

If you're not going to reset cartridges then whatever is the most current, I imagine.
