1) What brand filament are you using?
2) What are your heat settings?
3) Have you modified the print speeds?
4) Have you added a fan to cool the print?
5) Have you installed a slop nut or well nut to prevent Z backlash? I had this problem constantly when first printing until I installed something. And it always happened on one side as well now that I think of it.

@n2ri- A fan is pretty much required for PLA. You will rarely have good PLA results if you have an enclosure without a cooling fan. With ABS, since it cools too fast, will require a chamber to keep the heat in. A fan for ABS is a wonderful tool is you are:
1) Printing something very small
2) Bridging gaps
3) Have harsh overhangs

You are correct that ABS needs to be heated until the end of the job. In extreme occasions while printing with ABS slurry, I needed to turn off the bed heat because the temp under the slurry began to bubble, causing warping not on the first layers, but on the current tool paths.

I said ABS has to have heated bed til finished printing so how does fast cooling upper layers keep this from happening. they have inclosures but still issues on long prints.

geez them guys where hard headed. thought I was going nuts lol. finally saw I was in the devinci forum so just left it.
