Yes, stock firmware but used Slic3r and 3rd part filament.

After, reading Make Mag v42 printer review and watching a youtube video I was amazed to see print jobs that created models that had functional moving parts. Anyone have any experience with printing models of this type.

I tried to print a working crescent wrench printed in one piece. it failed horribly. A lot of success depends on the slicer, the software, and the firmware. I don't think you will ever be able to print the wrench or a roller bearing with this printer as stock.
