If you're going into production on these, I would recommend going injection molding. Printing is the perfect solution for prototyping, getting the design in top shape. Past that, at the very least, resin cast them for quick, much cheaper production. You can resin cast each part after you do the molds every 20 mins.

It looks like from the video it can stand by itself on say a table? Not bad, but definitely source cheaper more reliable production.

Dear Solidoodlers,
I'd like to introduce you my first commercial product, ClampHero.

It is a patent-pending smartphone, tablet and e-reader mount to be used primarily on airplanes, trains and coaches backseats.
It works also as a standalone holder as well as in other places where there is something to hook it, like in the kitchen.
It is compatible with almost every device, from an iPhone 5 (58mm) to the big iPad 2 (186mm)
Four different mounts ensure it is compatible with the majority of backseats.
I'm running a Kickstarter campaign to buy several Solidoodles and ramp up the production, since it takes 14 hours to print all the parts.
