I've replaced the red punch-down connectors (that SD added solder to), with crimp-on connectors; haven't had any issues since.

I retried the whole print process and it worked. go figure.

]]> Sun, 16 Nov 2014 02:11:54 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/71921/#p71921 <![CDATA[odd behavior of printer when starting job]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/71920/#p71920 worked fine all day yesterday with several prints, placed new object today and sliced gcode. when started print it moves normal to start point then makes tiny jerks as it starts each line at corners b4 continuing that line to next turning point at almost normal speeds then repeats this odd stuttering. this is not going to be an hour an half print at this rate but more like day and half. extruder oozes some as its sooo slow. cant find any loose or non working wires, parts etc. even re sliced with browser off to see if that caused it. nothing has changed since it finished last print last night just new stl file.
