If you haven't calibrated steps per mm make sure you do that step. Making up for improper steps per mm via the extrusion multiplier is what SD does stock, and it greatly hinders the quality of your parts. If I was at home I'd find prints before/after steps per mm calibration and show you. Just because your walls are 0.48 (or 0.42 if you have the 0.35m nozzle) doesn't mean steps per mm is calibrated and it makes a significant difference.

Ok so my solidoodle 2 was working great and then my pc died. So I got a new pc and hooked everything up downloaded the new repetier host software from the solidoodle website and everything goes fine as long as I print at the .01mm layer height. But when I print at the .03 mm layer height I'm having an odd problem. The layers are fine vertically(that is in the z axis) but horizontally( x and y axis) the "lines" are spaced to far from each other. It is especially bad on the outer shells of a print. I can pretty much peel the layers back like an onion. I'm sorry if this has already been addressed but I really don't know what you would call this problem to do a search for it. I have tried turning up my infill but that seems to have no effect.
