Ive done the shim trick on the Y rods w/ cut up credit cards. Circles and holes are now round-amazing.

Loctite alone will not take out the Z bushing play in the bed frame.
There is a good amount of movement.
But I may be able to curl a plastic shim around the bushing along w/ loctite.
Also, when using adhesive, it must be free of grease to stick. Alot of grease around the bushings to clean

How do you post pics on this forum ? Tried posting pics but had problems.

I'm not sure if it was on this forum or the Voltivo site but this issue was addressed. If I remember correctly, you can shim the right side with paper/plastic shims to snug it up. Some folks may have also used an adhesive like lock-tite to attach the bushings to the plastic frame.

If I print too fast, I will get banding or ripples in my object. I use the 20mm cal cube from thingiverse that has an X and a Y made into it's sides. On the Y side I get what looks almost like Echos of the the Y from one side of the Y to the edge of the cube. There are about 4 of them. Still not sure what causes it as they don't appear using XYZ crap ware.

Had very little surface banding when it was new. Now, severe banding.
Measured banding and by golly it almost equals thread pitch- 8mmx1.25.

The right stationary Z rod bronze bushings are loose in the plastic bed frame. I can wiggle the bed sideways.
The bushings are ok on the rod.
The left side of the bed frame encloses the bushings entirely , while the right side is open. :rolleyes
Whats that all about ?

I used a sml pair of vise grips and clamped the bed to the left of the bushing and it took the looseness away.

How do I do a permanent fix ?
