]]> Mon, 17 Dec 2012 08:07:38 +0000 https://www.soliforum.com/post/7329/#p7329 <![CDATA[spring tension for belts]]> https://www.soliforum.com/post/7319/#p7319 I've built a few CNC DIY projects in the past.  For parts I've harvested quite a few scanners.  One thing stood out  as a commonality with the belt drives.  They all had spring tensioners.  A few had springs in the mount for the idle pulley.  Most of them used a torsion spring similar to a clothes pin.

This isn't a new concept to Reprap.
