			<description><![CDATA[<p>Even without a fan pointed at the print, I get fine overhangs without speeding them up and noticed that my prints looked worse when I would speed up overhangs.&nbsp; I noticed this was an added feature in one of the newer versions of slic3r.&nbsp; The overhang per layer should, of course, be less than the path width.&nbsp; I see no reason to do overhangs at speeds other than your typical perimeter speed.</p>]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[overhang print speed with fan?]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I notice the default slic3r settings call for printing overhangs at higher speed, but I sort of wonder if that is a good idea now that I&#039;ve rigged up a PWM controlled cooling fan? It seems like the burst of speed is more likely to drag the filament out of position than being slow and steady.</p><p>Obviously the thing to do is just try a slower speed and see what happens, but I wonder if there is any conventional wisdom about this?</p>]]></description>
