There were several transitional models. This is actually a Gen2 Prototype, but it's much closer to being a Gen1. After this guy had some problems, we made sure to be more careful about shipping prototypes.

Maybe it's a Gen 1.2.  Did Gen 1 printers ever ship with the Gen 2 form factor, but 100mm bed size?

Kind of like how makerbot is mentioned almost everywhere 3d printing is mentioned, solidoodle is more affordable and therefor will gain a higher rate of adoption, provided you guys can pump enough out to meet demand, haha smile

I wish he had upgraded, because I think he would like the Solidoodle 2 better. He's had some repair issues.
