I created a path to it, and pasted that path into slic3r, however when I go and find the file, it is still a gcode file. any tips?

I did not use your code as I'm on a PC, however, I did convert it to C# and it works. I can now export from Repetier and have it automatically load the converted file in XYZ. Thanks.

Hey Guys I wrote this little script that converts GCode files to 3W files. I added it to my output options of Slic3r so it automatically generates 3W files I'm using Mac and it works great for me. I've released the code here:
