If you plan on upgrading your heated bed or your hot end, you'll find that 200W might not be enough, especially if you want to heat your bed in a reasonable amount of time (faster than 12-15 minutes).

In that case, you might want to look at PC style or better yet, server power supplies. Unlike standard ATX power supplies, server power supplies devote most of their output to the 12V rail, and only very little to the 5V, so when you see 750W output, at least 700W is 12V.

You can get server PSUs for as little $30-50 on eBay so I would highly recommend one of those.

Thanks a lot guys.
I found these "open" power supplies locally too, but they seem dangerous and I was suggested against putting it in some kind of case to prevent heating.

elmoret, I checked the internet for xbox 360 and xbox one power supplies but all the sellers said they were 135W. I just checked the old xbox 360 power supplies after your post and it is 12V and 14.2 A. Seems what I need. I wonder if the later models of the 360 and the One switched to less Amperes or the sellers just have wrong info.
Anyway, I just need a specialist to replace the end plug now, huh?

If you are going for an upgraded power supply, I recommend getting something that can deliver more of a kick rather than something that could shortchange you in the future (i.e. less power)

My power supply is broken.
I know Solidoodle sells replacements on the site but I need it fast and I'm not in US. if they had 1 day shipping methods then that would be too expensive.

So I'm wondering, are there power supplies for other somewhat common hardware I could use? I could get a specialist to replace the ends of the cables, as long as it's 150W (12v and 12.5A ).
I've also found some Chinese power supplies which can ship fast but I'm not sure about their quality. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4 … p;_sacat=0
