I was wondering if it is more worth it to purchase a 3D Printers or engage a 3D Printing Services company to print your designs?

I heard that Desktop 3D Printers are still quite unstable yet and are hard to even make a successful print. I watched this video on youtube reviewing on the popular cube x, apparently print didn't came out great.

So far my 3D designs were being printed by a local 3D Printing company that offers Services.

But my design work load has increased. I am looking at getting a personal desktop 3D Printer. Need to look at the pros and cons first though before i invest lots of money in it.
