Okay so a month or so back I posted a small thread about my experiences comparing PLA with blue painters tape and a Polycarbonate bed. I have finally gotten BACK to using ABS and instead of Kaptop tape (Which I spent my first 6 months printing with), I used the same Polycarbonate bed!

Heated the bed to 120C, gave it a quick scrape down with a razor blade, and loaded in the roll of Translucent ABS I have has laying around. I lowered the bed to 92C and the nozzle to 226C.

(I would have set the Nozzle to 230C since I have an e3d but for some reason I have tried and failed many many times to reprogram the Printrboard Rev-E. Any help on that issue by the way would be very welcome through a PM.)

Anyways, I started the extrusion multiplier (hollow cube) calibration print, and didnt have a SINGLE adhesion issue! It stuck 10x better than kapton EVER had! I have run 4 or 5 calibration prints and just experimented with the new bed a bit and it is AMAZING! Not too hard to pull off, not too easily removed! MY tip to you?

BUY A POLYCARBONATE BED! I got mine custom cut at Lowe's for about $2.87 roughly. Cheap as can be and when one side wears out, you flip it and use the other one! Heres the thing, I have yet to have one wear out! I have had two sheets of it for months and both of them still work perfectly!

Comment with your own opinions, ideas, reponses etc! Would love to hear it!

P.S. Sorry about all the question marks, I just noticed them. Im a bit overjoyed by this at the moment ;D
