I could see the ABS sticking out of the PEEK but it refused to come out even when gently pulled on with long nose pliers. I plugged it back in and cranked the temperature up to 210 C. The ABS expanded out of the PEEK! With long nose pliers I was then able to pull it out of the PEEK. I reassembled the extruder, inserted more ABS and tested. It now works!

@IronMan: I opened the jigsaw to hopefully remove the jam that was above the peek barrel but I was wrong.


So I guess is anyone selling E3D v6 with all the necessary parts/screws/mounts?

Lawsy's design is indeed awesome!  But I have to tell you that you did not need to disassemble the jigsaw to remove the hot end:

That is because the jigsaw is a very poorly designed extruder. The Lawsy MK5 is basically "4 screws and you're set" simple.

If the Solidoodle hotend got jammed within 2 hours, what do you expect buying a new Solidoodle hotend?

I am unsure of how to unclog it myself. I have taken the whole jigsaw apart but the plastic in the PEEK barrel has completely hardened.
