It could vary the layer number by a few percentage, max.&nbsp; &nbsp;The variance between .2965 and .3 is only 1-2%. but let me know if I&#039;m missing something. </p><br /><p>212 to 284 layers does not make sense. Perhaps cura and repetier are set differently. </p><p>To OP:<br />Do the prints come out looking similarly? And is your filament diameter and extrusion multiplier the same between programs?</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have noticed that if I use Slic3r on a part it says 284 layers at .2 mm and 3 + hrs<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;if I use Cura it says 212 layers for the same part at .2 mm and 1 + hrs </p><p>why would there be a difference in # of layers if they are both the same part and layer thickness ?</p>]]></description>
